Avoids any confusion / potential trademark friction with HashWallet
(Spanish hardware-wallet company). Hash Bags is a more distinctive
name, harder to collide with, and we can still rank for 'hash wallet'
search via App Store / Play Store subtitle ('Hash Bags - A Wallet
for your Coins').
What changed (all user-visible strings):
- Launcher labels: android/app.properties, scripts/android/app_env.sh,
scripts/ios/app_env.sh, linux window title (CMakeLists +
my_application.cc)
- In-app text: lib/generated/i18n.dart + ARB sources under res/values/
- Brand docs: README.md, CONTRIBUTING.md, PRIVACY.md,
assets/text/Terms_of_Use.txt, assets/text/Release_Notes.txt
- hash.boats website: index.html, og-image.svg + regen og-image.png,
site.webmanifest, styles.css comment, splash/confirm/pulse/mark/
lockup svg titles, report/index.html, server/server.js
- CI workflow display names ("Hash Bags Linux build", etc.)
What did NOT change (deliberate):
- Bundle ID / Package: com.suchsoftware.hashwallet (immutable app
identity on App Store + Play Store — changing == orphaning the app)
- Binary name: hash_wallet (Linux executable)
- Dart import paths: package:hash_wallet/...
- Git repo: hash-wallet (Such-Software/hash-wallet)
- URL scheme: hashwallet:// (internal deep links)
- support@such.software (no domain change yet)
- App Store / Play Store listing names (whatever was registered there
stays; we updated launcher label only)
- hash.boats domain (still the wallet site)
Also kept the '#ash Wallet' wordplay in the nav but updated to
'#ash Bags' so the # mark still serves as the H. Nav reads:
[# mark] #ash Bags
Website hero tagline now matches the App Store sub-title concept:
'A wallet for your coins. Open-source, non-custodial, multi-chain.
Privacy-leaning by default.'

==============

Last Updated: May 16, 2026

Such Software LLC ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. Hash Bags is engineered to be a strictly non-custodial software application. Our privacy philosophy is simple: we cannot leak or misuse data that we do not collect.
1. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT
--------------------------------
Hash Bags operates entirely on your device. We do not collect, transmit, store, or have access to:
- Your private keys, public keys, or mnemonic seed phrases.
- Your wallet passwords or PINs.
- Your transaction history, balances, or recipient addresses.
- Your personal identifying information (e.g., name, address, email, phone number).
- Your IP address or device identifiers (unless explicitly provided by you via direct support communications).
2. HOW THE SOFTWARE CONNECTS TO BLOCKCHAINS
-------------------------------------------
To fetch balances and broadcast transactions, Hash Bags must connect to remote blockchain nodes.
By default, the Software may connect to nodes hosted by third parties or by us.
When your device connects to a node, your IP address and the transaction data you are broadcasting are visible to that node.
We highly recommend running your own node and configuring the Software to connect to it via the custom node settings, to ensure maximum network-level privacy.
3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES (TROCADOR)
----------------------------------
Hash Bags integrates with a third-party swap aggregator, Trocador, to allow you to exchange digital assets natively within the interface.
When you initiate a swap, the necessary transaction details (such as the sending address, receiving address, and amount) are transmitted directly to Trocador's API.
Trocador acts as an independent data controller. Trocador or the underlying exchanges it routes to may log your IP address and transaction details. We strongly advise reviewing Trocador's Privacy Policy before utilizing the swap feature.
Such Software LLC does not intercept, log, or store the data you transmit to Trocador.
4. APP STORES AND CRASH REPORTS
-------------------------------
If you download Hash Bags through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, those platforms may independently collect analytics or crash reports based on your device's operating system settings. We only view anonymized, aggregated metrics provided by these storefronts.
