Brings wownero-lws up to date with monero-lws master (+18 commits incl. the /feed
websocket push API and mempool support in get_address_txs). All 10 merge conflicts
resolved; consensus-critical wownero adaptations preserved: decode_amount BulletproofPlus
scalarmult8 + monero-0.18 rct::h2d + rct_type; view tags; PoW next_difficulty signature.
Builds clean against wownero v0.11.4.0 and runtime-verified: daemon connects + scans,
mempool pool-updater runs, /feed wired (--feed-timeout), REST get_address_info returns
valid JSON.
Restores wownero max_ring_size=25 (forced ring 22 / mixin 21 per wownero source);
the March re-port had regressed it to the monero default of 20.
NOTE: needs synced-chain scan testing (esp. BulletproofPlus amount decode) before
promoting to release/master.
Adapts monero-lws for Wownero cryptocurrency:
- Rename all monero-lws-* binaries to wownero-lws-*
- Update submodule to point to official Wownero repo
- Use Wownero default ports (RPC: 34568, ZMQ: 34569)
- Update data directory to ~/.wownero/light_wallet_server
- Adapt next_difficulty() calls for Wownero API signature
Key technical changes for Wownero compatibility:
- BulletproofPlus (RCTTypeBulletproofPlus, type 8) commitment verification:
Wownero stores BP+ commitments in 'divided by 8' form. Must call
rct::scalarmult8() on outPk commitment before comparing with computed
commitment (mask*G + amount*H). This is essential for amount decryption.
- Pass rct_type to decode_amount() for proper commitment handling
- Handle Wownero's ZMQ JSON format for ecdhTuple (32-byte mask/amount fields)
No fork of Wownero is required - uses official codeberg.org/wownero/wownero.
* Add context to error logs
* Implement block depth threading
* Log thread work status
* gitignore cache files
* Add --min-block-depth flag
* Allows user to set the minimum block depth of an address as used to calculate the work when distributing addresses to threads.
* Alternate over/under allocating work to threads
This ensures the last thread is closer to being evenly allocated compared to all the prior threads.
* Add --split-sync-threads option
* This options splits up threads into synced and unsynced classes
* Improve logging of thread assignments
* Add support for balance-new-addresses
* Option will more intelligently distribute new addresses to threads with a scan height that closely matches that of the incoming address
* fixup! Add support for balance-new-addresses
* Fix scanner_options and program objects sort order
