From 7d3ab3ff443aa0d375dc230ffee90f0d0b5c2594 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: jwinterm Date: Fri, 15 May 2026 07:47:08 -0400 Subject: [PATCH] prepare_moneroc.sh: skip zano submodule + shallow + parallel clones MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit monero_c (MrCyjaneK's multi-coin C wrapper) bundles monero, wownero, and zano as sibling git submodules. Upstream prepare_moneroc.sh did a naive 'git submodule update --init --recursive' which pulled all three plus their deep transitive submodules — zano alone drags down a ~100MB Qt UI subtree we never compile. Now: deinit + rm -rf zano (so it stays gone across runs), init only monero and wownero, --depth 1 for shallow, --jobs 8 for parallel. Same patches loop trimmed to drop zano. --- scripts/prepare_moneroc.sh | 12 ++++++++++-- 1 file changed, 10 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) diff --git a/scripts/prepare_moneroc.sh b/scripts/prepare_moneroc.sh index 2d7b06f0c..16c68dd8f 100755 --- a/scripts/prepare_moneroc.sh +++ b/scripts/prepare_moneroc.sh @@ -18,9 +18,17 @@ fi git fetch -a git checkout bc8d1a0b75b97156d71579581b4cdfe58c777ed2 git reset --hard -git submodule update --init --force --recursive -for coin in monero wownero zano; +# Hash Wallet: monero_c bundles monero, wownero, AND zano as sibling +# submodules.
